ok, so i don't usually enjoy commenting on the world situation in my blog, but now seems like a good chance to do it.
in case you haven't noticed, the world has gone FUCKING CRAZY! the situation in iraq has become so unstable that its leaders have admitted that there's a good chance of a civil war. at the same time, people have been running around iraq chanting "america brought us terrorism! death to americans!"
it makes a girl feel warm and fuzzy inside.
in addition, this whole cartoon thing is completely out of control. it's been over a month since this happened, and people are STILL freaking out over these muslim cartoons. no, they should not have been printed. but can people please just calm the fuck down and stop rioting?
i'm convinced that people are just looking for reasons to hate at this point. and that's frightening.
furthermore, south dakota's senate just passed a bill banning abortions.
*EDIT* in the 10 minutes that passed since i published this, gunmen killed 47 factory workers in baghdad.

....wait wait wait...SD can't do that, right? When did the Supreme Court stop being the supreme law of the land. I missed the memo
well, the point is to challenge roe v. wade. planned parenthood will probably sue SD and it will go to the supreme court. i am so worried about the possibility of roe v. wade being overturned, i almost hope the case doesn't make it to the court. then it'll be the state's decision.
